Driving on national road 13A, only 11 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc, you reach the village of Satu Mare, famous for its authentic folk-art heritage. The village is home to nearly 200 beautifully carved and painted Székely gates. At the crossroads at the end of the village, turn left and follow the stream toward Parau Satu Mare, where you’ll find the guesthouse surrounded by forest silence and the soothing sound of a mountain brook—perfect for true relaxation.

Marefalvi - Demeter Jozsef Guesthouse is located in Parau Satu Mare, right by the stream and surrounded by forest. Fresh mountain air, peaceful woodland and the gentle sound of running water make it an ideal place to slow down and recharge.

On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy living room, a dining area (note: the dining table seats 8), a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, plus two bedrooms with double beds. Upstairs there are four more rooms and a gallery: two rooms with one double bed each, one room with two double beds, and a fourth room with a double bed. The upper part of this room is set up as a gallery area, offering sleeping space for an additional 2 guests. A bathroom is also available upstairs.
