Cycling Tour & Trout Lunch in Sicasau
We invite you to join a relaxing and enjoyable cycling tour to Sicasau, where you can savor a delicious lunch made from freshly caught trout.
(The trout lunch is not only available for cyclists. Visitors arriving by car are also welcome, and fresh trout can be purchased on-site.)
Access
Sicasau is located about 12 km northeast of the Zetea reservoir dam, where the Dénes family’s trout farm awaits visitors.
The route takes you through beautiful, unspoiled natural landscapes. Along the way, you can refresh yourself in the Sicasau stream and enjoy cool spring water.
The road is paved and of good quality, with a gentle, continuous incline.
Upon arriving in Sicasau, pass the wooden bell tower on the left side of the road, then after approximately 300 meters turn left off the main road. Continue on a gravel road towards the “Trout Meadow.” After another 300 meters, turn left again onto a narrow cart track. After about 50 meters, you will find the welcoming trout farm on the left-hand side.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a peaceful, nature-filled environment, perfect for relaxing after the ride.

While guests unwind, the Dénes family prepares the meal: the trout is freshly caught, cleaned, and cooked on a traditional griddle.
The meal is served in a charming outdoor setting by the stream, creating a truly authentic experience.
