Mini Transylvania Park – Transylvania in Miniature, Big Experiences
Mini Transylvania Park was created by the team behind the Székely Land of Legends project. The park’s goal is to showcase the multicultural architectural heritage of Transylvania through detailed miniature models representing the region’s most important historical buildings in their golden age. Several of the displayed monuments are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
The miniature models were created by visual artists Vajda Domokos and Németh Hajnal Auróra from Cristuru Secuiesc, under the professional guidance of historical graphic artist Gyöngyössy János.
Mini Transylvania Park is unique in Romania and was inspired by famous European parks such as Mini-Europe in Brussels and Minimundus in Klagenfurt.
Using innovative solutions, the park promotes Transylvania’s cultural heritage and offers visitors the opportunity to explore many iconic monuments and architectural treasures in one place.
One of the park’s most beloved attractions is the Mini Székely Steam Train, inspired by the famous regional railway project realized through the efforts of Ugron Gábor and Orbán Balázs.
Visitors can enjoy a special ride on the Mini Secler Steam Train along a railway track of more than 300 meters running through the miniature buildings.
